Note: I don't Guide Treks. If you are looking for a Mountain Guide try here: Asociación Argentina de Guías de Montaña (AAGM)

Want some information, a recommendation for a trek, or would like to suggest a new route ?

Note: The trekking season in Bariloche is from December to March; the majority of the mountain refuges are open between October/Novermber to April each year with the exception of Refugio Frey which is open year round. There is usually snow on the high mountain passes in late November and sometimes even into December meaning that although the refuges may be open and the trail to them are accessible, the trails between the refuges via the high passes will only be accessible to experienced people who are equipped to deal with these snowy conditions.

Paso de la Nubes and the Colonia Suiza to Pampa Linda trek will be the last to open (usually in January).

If you are looking for up to date trail conditions outside of the normal trekking season I suggest you wait until you arrive in Bariloche then head to the National Park Office

If you still have a question please contact me at the email below -
