
Before heading into the Mountains check up-to-date trail info, and register your trek intentions with the National Park office in Bariloche, Pampa Linda or online.
The Otto Meiling Refuge is a spectacular place to spend the night, perched on the edge of the Castaño Overa Glacier. The refuge costs about AR60 a night (bring a sleeping bag) or you can camp for free - no shelter. A night in this refuge can be combined with the Paso de las Nubes trek.
