Paso de Las Nubes Trek

A beautifull 2 day trek mainly through trees from Pampa Linda over Paso de las Nubes to Puerto Frias.

There are now a static campsite just after the pass (below Glacier Frias) and showers, you have can purchase your tickets here for the boat trip back to Puerto Panuelo (Bariloche). Camping with your own tent is still free. Confirm boat details before leaving for trek.

Transport:
Bariloche - Pampa Linda: There are tourist services daily in the morning, returning in the evening. Price about $40
Puerto Frias - Puerto Blest: Look into boat options or you have to walk the extra 10kms
Puerto Frias - Puerto Panuelo: Tourist boat service 1 or 2 a day. $190
Puerto Panuelo - Bariloche: Bus Number 20. (every 20 mins during the day) $3.25

Camping:
There is a campsite (fee payable) at Pampa Linda, or another at Puerto Frias.
En route there are camping areas before or after the pass as per the map.

Route:
The route can be walked in either a North - South or vice verca.

Pampa Linda - Puerto Frias
Its a fairly steady trek from pampa Linda, getting steep for the acent just before the pass. The decent is steep but offers excellent views. Most of the second day is spent in the forest with limited views
