Location
To the west of Lago Llanquihue just north of Puerto Montt, Chile
Transport:
Private transport will need to be arrange as there is no local transport
Accomadation:
My recommendation is to stay at Zapato Amarillo Hostel who may be able to arrange private transport. Call first to check.
Route:
The usual route is from the Refuge Teski Club. Ice Axe, crampons and rope are needed due to the presence of large crevasses.
Alternative route via the Norther slope from Refuge de Los Curas (ruined). Ascending scree then snow/glacier to the summit. Crevasses present but fewer than from Refuge Teski.
