From one hour - one day treks

Not got much time, or just want something shorter ? There and back in a day....

Really Short:
Cerro Otto: Take the cable car to the top, or walk up the gravel road (this makes it a medium). From the restaurant at the top, you can walk along the ridge. 90 mins round trip. Great all round views.
Take the bus to Llao Llao and walk around the forest, or make the short ascent to Cerro Llao Llao

Medium - a few hours:
If you have a car and you enjoy the forests drive out the the campsite at Maitenes at the northern end of Lago Mascardi, then a 4 hours round trip to Lago Llum

A full day:
The best option for a full day trek is to head up to one of the refuges and back:
Refugio Frey: Forest, Lake and Jagged mountains
Refugio Negra: Forest, Lake
Refugio Lopez / Cerro Lopez: High mountain best views
